Sam serves as Quinlan’s Business Intelligence Lead, and is based in the firm’s Charleston office. Sam works across Quinlan’s corporate and business intelligence services for a range of clients, including private equity firms, corporations, specialty lenders, and other institutional investors.

His work primarily focuses on helping clients answer complex questions through human intelligence and open-source research solutions, including in the context of early-stage investment research, deal adjacent due diligence, portfolio company operations, and human capital evaluation. Sam's efforts also include providing support to attorneys and companies involved in complex disputes. 

Prior to joining Quinlan, Sam worked in a variety of industries, including aerospace, consumer technology, and manufacturing, with roles across human capital, operations, sales, marketing, and finance. He has an in-depth knowledge of technology, including cutting-edge digital open-source methodologies, and his experience allows him to provide comprehensive support across our client’s most difficult matters.

His academic background includes a focus on management and economics, with degrees earned from Hampden-Sydney College and the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
