Prior to joining the firm, Garett worked as an intelligence analyst for a cybersecurity company where he conducted investigations on fraud, phishing, cryptocurrency, and the dark web, and also regularly engaged domestic and international threat actors online to gather human intelligence and to make acquisitions for clients. Garett worked on a variety of client teams, including a multinational transportation network, a bank, and a financial technology company, and he supervised his own client team on behalf of a cryptocurrency exchange platform.
Garett received his B.S. in digital forensics and criminal justice, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
