Patrick conducts business intelligence research through in-depth interviews and public records for a wide range of financial industry clients both connected to potential transactions and dispute resolution.
Patrick provides deal teams and litigators with comprehensive diligence on public and private targets, integrating public records analysis with targeted source confirmation to surface reputational considerations, risk-relevant findings, and strategic intelligence for investment planning. With a substantive background in technology research, from seed-stage startups to large public companies, he works across multiple sectors, specializing in tech, aerospace, and manufacturing.
Patrick brings over 9 years of experience in investigations and qualitative research. Before joining Quinlan Partners, he worked as the Investigative Candidate Lead for a venture studio, evaluating potential founders of software startups. Prior to that, he worked for a due diligence firm with offices in NYC and London, where he specialized in complex sourcing and early stage tech companies. Patrick has a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Sydney, awarded after completing a multi-year ethnographic research project on housing in NYC. He also has a B.A. in International and Global Studies with First Class Honors from the University of Sydney.
