Stephen Braswell is an associate managing director in Quinlan’s New York office, where he leads complex investigations and advises clients involved in high-stakes disputes and sensitive corporate matters.
Stephen has extensive experience managing investigations across a wide range of legal matters, including high-stakes commercial disputes, white-collar criminal cases, and complex bankruptcies. His expertise includes identifying, locating, and vetting witnesses; conducting opposition research on counterparties and expert witnesses; supporting surveillance operations; and leading general fact-finding efforts.
He also brings nearly 20 years of professional experience supporting clients in high-stakes corporate matters, including control contests and mergers and acquisitions. His work includes vetting potential board candidates and C-suite executives, and conducting in-depth investigations into activist shareholders. He has also supported investigations involving threats to ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
Stephen previously served as an Associate Managing Director at a global corporate intelligence and investigations firm based in New York. Prior to that, he was the Director of an investigative practice at an international risk management company.
